Autonomous vehicles like Waymo have been doing some crazy things! They’ve been blowing by stopped school buses, blocking ambulances, driving into floodwaters but stopping for puddles, driving through police crime scenes, driving down light rail tracks, and in one client’s case, crashing into them while ignoring a police officer’s traffic control hand signals at an intersection where the traffic lights were temporarily out.

We’re all for innovation and proud of Austin’s tech sector, but these companies are now using our public roadways as their testing grounds. They’re chasing billions in future profits. What happens to the people they hurt along the way? There has to be accountability and that’s where our law firm comes in.

Barn door-style glass shower doors in recently built or remodeled residences and hotels have been shattering with little to no force exerted on them. The cause is typically a combination of contractors not closely following poorly translated installation instructions from Chinese distributors and property owners choosing to ignore rather than correct the issue. Even though the glass is usually tempered, the injuries can be severe and in some cases can even cause death.

Is your teen ready to take the wheel? The 16-year-old driving this SUV wasn’t and the price was high. They ran a stop sign and caused a t-bone collision with 2 other vehicles that both had the right of way. Video that we obtained from a neighbor on the 2nd slide.

A man was killed in a head-on collision with a pickup truck driven by an oilfield services worker in West Texas. Slingshot Law was happy to have been brought in to team up with Sanchez Law to help the deceased's family obtain an $11,000,000.00 policy limits settlement against the negligent driver and his employer.

Who gets the citation when a driverless vehicle commits a serious traffic violation, like blowing past our children’s school buses?
