A Flagler County jury returned an $8.638 million verdict in favor of a commercial truck driver who suffered catastrophic injuries after a tractor-trailer lost control and caused his box truck to roll multiple times.
Despite clear dash cam footage of the crash and a rejected $2 million policy-limits demand, the defense initially offered just $525,000 before ultimately admitting liability two weeks before trial.
The Plaintiff sustained life-altering injuries including a cervical fusion, spinal fracture, torn ACL, shoulder injuries, head trauma, and permanent scarring, resulting in extensive medical treatment, ongoing pain, and loss of enjoyment of life.
