Attending the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of North America’s 2026 Annual Conference and celebrating the impact of the South Asian legal community in North America are always highlights for our firm. This year’s conference was especially meaningful for us as KPPB LAW received the award for commitment to diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities for the next generation of legal talent. Thank you to SABA’s leadership and the awards committee for this recognition. KPPB LAW’s roots are deeply connected to the SABA community from our law firm’s founding in 2003 by four SABA Georgia lawyers, to our continued leadership at the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia (SABA-GA) and South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut (SABAC), and our ongoing partnership with SABA North America—SABA is central to our firm’s story and growth and has been for more than two decades. Also, thank you to Sonjui Kumar for moderating a sold-out panel about the career path from “Counsel to the C-Suite.” As a past SABANA president, Sonjui had the serendipitous moment of capturing a photo with all the former presidents of SABANA attending the conference. Thank you to SABA and everyone who helped make this year’s event in San Diego so memorable for us.
