Tell the police you are injured.

If you don’t, the police report may say you were “not injured” — and the insurance company will use that against you later.

If you don’t have uninsured motorist coverage and someone with no insurance hits you, you could be stuck with the injuries, the bills, and very few options.

I see it all the time — especially in Atlanta.

Protect yourself before the crash happens. Get uninsured motorist coverage. At least $25,000, and if you’re smart, consider $100,000 or more.

Don’t wait until after the accident to find out you weren’t protected.
