Ouch. Rates hit 7.5% yesterday.

When rates go up, strategies need to adjust.

Home ownership does not become impossible, but affordability needs to be taken into careful consideration.

The good news? When rates are up, less buyers are making offers. Sellers are motivated, are much more willing to negotiate, and there is more inventory to choose from.

We can still create wins when rates are up, we just need to go in with a slightly different strategy.

Dealmaker WNC is a local Asheville real estate investing meetup. Our attendees are investors, agents, professionals, service providers, entrepreneurs, and more!

Our events are for anyone looking to learn about real estate investing or leveling up their business.

When you try to go cheap…. You get what you pay for 🙈

Cheaper is NOT better. A lot of us know this, and apply it in our daily lives.

But when it comes to shopping for mortgages… why are we making decisions based off of .2% differences?

People often think lowest rate/fees = their best option. But that’s often not true.

What you should look at instead:
-who can get me to closing ON TIME?
-who truly understands these transactions?
-who can solve potential problems when they pop up?
-who’s going to answer my calls after hours and on the weekends?
-who can I rely on and trust throughout my home purchase?

These things are WAY more important than seeing who can save you $200 on your total closing costs.
