President Joe Biden nominated former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley to be the Commissioner of Social Security this past week. O’Malley worked as the Governor from 2007-2015. Our office, as well as the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives is pleased with the nomination of O’Malley and his track record of data-based decision-making, and is optimistic that Governor O’Malley will provide strong leadership in guiding a more claimant oriented Administration.
