What a day. I had the honor of moving for Zach Porters’s admittance into the State Bar of Michigan. Zach will be starting with us at Raitt Law in September. Raitt Law, PLLC secured a $700,000 settlement for a truck driver who was viciously assaulted by a facility employee during a routine stop, suffering a brain injury and severe neck injury.

The defense argued the company wasn’t responsible for its employee’s intentional actions. However, our aggressive investigation uncovered a pattern of prior violent threats and workplace incidents involving the same employee-proving the company kept a known hazard on the job.

We fought back against the defense, held the company accountable, and won justice for our client.
