Underwood shareholder and State Bar Director for District 13, Chris Wrampelmeier, attended the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in Houston.

While there, he participated in Board of Directors meetings and is pictured with the new State Bar President G. David Smith and State Bar President-Elect Sarah Keathley. He is also pictured alongside fellow Princeton University alumni and State Bar directors Craig L. Stahl and Stephen Michael Foster.

Chris also attended the annual meeting and board dinner of the State Bar’s Computer & Technology Section. He serves as the Board of Directors liaison to the Computer & Technology Section, the Family Law Section, and the Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters Committee.

Underwood Shareholder Chris Wrampelmeier, board-certified in family law, presented a paper on “Tracing Separate Property” at the TexasBarCLE Marriage Dissolution Institute last month in Galveston, Texas.

Chris and Judge Roy Ferguson were featured in a slide during Patrick Wright’s presentation, “The Digital Divorce: AI, Ethics, Surveillance Technology, Digital Evidence, and Robots.” They closed out the seminar by recreating their memorable AI ad moment.

Chris also attended the Family Law Council meeting of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section. He joined Patrick Wright, Sallee Smyth, and Christi Lankford in receiving the Chair’s Award for their work on the Section’s new Annotated Family Code. This marks Chris’s second time receiving the honor.
