🥇 Gold Rush Days: The Weekend Dahlonega REALLY Comes Alive!
If you've ever been to Dahlonega during Gold Rush Days, you know exactly what I mean when I say our little town completely transforms!
Every October, thousands of people head to the historic square for a weekend filled with arts and crafts, food, music, a parade—and plenty of reminders of the gold-mining history that put Dahlonega on the map.
Living here, I get to enjoy Dahlonega when the square is quiet and peaceful...but I have to admit, there's something pretty special about seeing the streets filled with people enjoying the town I call home. ❤️
Gold Rush is scheduled this year for October 17–18 this year, and here's my local advice:
Come early.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Be patient in finding a parking space
AND... most of all, just enjoy yourself in one of the most popular small towns in Georgia!!

Thinking about making Blue Ridge, Georgia your new home? 🏔️

🍂 You know it's REALLY fall in North Georgia when...

There's a jacket permanently living in the car, apple c***r suddenly sounds good every day, the firepit is calling your name—and Saturday traffic reminds me that everyone else has discovered how beautiful October is here too. 😂

But for me, I know fall has really arrived when I walk outside at our farm here in Dahlonega first thing in the morning.

The air has that unmistakable chill. The horses seem to have a little more energy. 🐴 The leaves around the pasture are just beginning to turn, and that first cup of coffee outside tastes even better. ☕🍁

I've lived here long enough to know what's coming...

And I STILL get excited about fall in North Georgia every single year. ❤️
