Roybal-Mack & Cordova, P.C. Client Centered Legal Services At Roybal-Mack & Cordova, PC, we know no two clients or cases are alike. That is why our services and approach are different.

The law does not have a one-size-fits-all box, and neither do we. We believe that legal solutions must be tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, goals and budget. Not every case needs a lawyer every step of the way. We offer solutions from full-service representation, unbundled services to “On your own, but not alone” platforms where you can use our online services and only pay for attorn

ey time when you need it. No matter the extent of services we provide, we are committed to building lasting relationships with clients. We offer an honest, personal, results-oriented and cost-effective approach that has earned the respect of our clients and a strong reputation among the judges and lawyers within the Albuquerque and greater New Mexico legal communities. Roybal-Mack & Cordova, PC is based in Albuquerque, but our attorneys travel statewide to represent individuals, families, and businesses throughout New Mexico.

Mora County, NM is struggling to access potable and clean drinking water. A number of wells have been tested and show heavy metal contamination. We are supporting a long term strategy to help our Mora community, but today, we are doing what we can to help bring safe drinking water to the community for the short term.

Have you visited Holloman Lake (also called Raptor Lake) near Alamogordo, New Mexico? If yes, please take this 10-minute survey about your visit: bit.ly/HollomanNM

The survey is voluntary and open until 11/30/25. Your individual responses will be kept confidential and only reported in summary form.

Earlier this year, the New Mexico Department of Health issued a health advisory due to high levels of PFAS (sometimes called “forever chemicals”) in water, plants, and animals around the lake. In August 2025, Holloman Lake was temporarily closed to the public.

Given this, NMED wants to learn more about how people used the lake and may have come into contact with PFAS. The results will help future efforts to protect public health.

What New Mexicans Should Know about PFAS:

A recent report from the New Mexico Environment Department details results related to PFAS contamination in the Clovis, New Mexico area. The Department is continuing to solicit information from residents in various NM areas to identify the extent of contamination across the state.

PFAS—often called “forever chemicals”—can linger in water, soil, and even our bodies for decades, posing health risks that are only now coming fully to light.

At Roybal-Mack & Cordova, P.C. we represent individuals and families who’ve been exposed to PFAS through contaminated water or workplace exposure. Our goal is to raise awareness, support affected communities, and push for accountability where contamination has occurred.
What you can do:

1) Stay informed about testing and cleanup efforts in your community.

2) Learn how PFAS exposure happens and what steps can reduce risk.

3) If you believe you’ve been exposed, seek medical guidance and explore your options.

We’re here to help PFAS-impacted communities understand their rights and find a path forward.
