Morris Law Firm, PLLC is seeking an experienced family law Paralegal to join our team in Abilene, Texas. We are a dynamic law firm focusing on family and criminal law.

The ideal candidate will be professional, intelligent, self-motivated, dedicated, and reliable, with a strong work ethic, outstanding organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.

Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters with discretion are essential. Prefer candidates to have at least two (2) years prior experience in family law.

The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, manage a heavy caseload with multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and maintain effective time management.

Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting attorney with cases
* Communicating with clients and witnesses
* Conducting legal research
* Electronic filing
* Managing all family law cases
* Answering phone calls
* Corresponding with attorneys and courts
* Drafting legal documents
* Assisting with trial preparation
* Performing additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
* Paralegal certificate preferred
* 2 years previous law office experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with Form Builder or Tx Docs
* Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Bilingualism is a plus

This is a full-time, in-person position with expected hours of 36-40 per week.
