Joint Condolence Message on the Death of Journalist Santino Okanyi Lewa Wani

The Association for Media Women in South Sudan with deep sorrow regret to announce the passing on of the senior veteran Journalist Santino Okanyi Lewa who is also a senior government official in the Ministry of Information Communication Technology and postal service.his long service in building the media fraternity in South Sudan cannot be forgotten. The death occured in Juba on Sunday 11/01/2026, the funeral is at Hai Malakal next to Maidan Zahra and behind victorious hospital,
The burial will take place on Wednesday 14/0126 at Leiangari vellage after prayers at Sant. Tereza cathedral at 08:00 am .

Condolences message on the passing of veteran journalist Emmanuel Joseph Akile
The Association for Media Women in South Sudan (AMWISS) is deeply saddened to hear the untimely passing of our veteran journalist Emmanuel Joseph Akile who served at Eye Radio
We express our sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues at EYE RADIO and entire media fraternity.
Mr Emmanuel Joseph Akile committed to his work with professional ethics and conduct of journalism and serve the country with integrity and dedicate in presenting Dawn show in the radio every morning that is directly to the citizens of country.
We mourn for his loss and celebrate his life and impact , he contribute to the media fraternity and country at large for his crucial role in informing the public
May his soul in eternal peace.
