FALAS - SOUTH SUDAN, 2025

SUBJECT: DISSOLUTION OF THE LEADERSHIP, AND IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION ABOUT NEXT STEPS - 2025

With reference to the above-mentioned subject, and in accordance with Article 30 (a) of the Federation of African Law Students - South Sudan - 2024, the leadership of FALAS South Sudan - 2024/2025 tenure is hereby declared dissolved on this 10th November, 2025.

Secondly, the dissolution is supposed to be subsequently followed by constituting the Independent Electoral Committee, but that won't be possible on the following grounds:

1. The fact is that, the International Leadership which is yet sworn in dictates the processes of next steps after the Dissolution of the leadership, because the transition of power in all chapters is done after the swearing in of international leadership. Hence, all the processes of transition of power is now put on hold in all chapters of FALAS across Africa including South Sudan until the New Elected International Leadership is sworn in to the office.

2. There's always official Communication from international leadership instructing all chapters to undertake the decided steps regarding the transition of power. Once the international leadership is sworn in, they will officially notify all chapters on the instructions for the transition of Leadership.

Therefore, we are hereby informing our law students' community that the next steps will be undertaken after official communication from International Leadership. We kindly ask for your the patience to persevere with this important call, while consider the leadership of 2024/2025 dissolved from the effect of today's 10th November 2025.
Yours Faithfully

PETER DER MAKUER,
FORMER NATIONAL PRESIDENT - FALAS SOUTH SUDAN
