FREE Legal Services mula sa Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Rizal-RSM Chapter para sa mga Marikenyo!

Thru the program "Katarungang Abot-kamay ng Bawat Marikeño - A Unified Legal Aid Service Program In The City Of Marikina" magkakaroon na nang libreng legal service para sa mga mahihirap nating kababayan dito sa ating lungsod.

Ito ay programa ng Office of the Vice Mayor Del De Guzman and in partnership with the Integrated Bar Of The Philippines National Center For Legal Aid IBP Rizal-RSM Chapter sa pangunguna ng kanilang Chapter President, Atty. Eric Paul I. Fetalino kasama ang kanilang Vice President, Atty. Dan Joseph Cruz at ang Deputy Director for Local Government Affairs, Atty. Vin R. Ching.

Nilagdaan ang kasunduan sa isang signing ceremony nitong June 18, 2026, na ginanap sa Marikina Legislative Building.

⭐ PAANO MAG AVAIL ng Free Legal services?

Batay sa Live video the FB page ni Vice Mayor Del during the agreement signing ceremony, ang mga nais na mag avail ng mga legal services ay:

1. dapat magpunta sa Office of the Vice Mayor at magdala ng ID na may address dito sa Marikina.

2. Magkakaroon ng interview at screening upang malaman kung qualified na mag avail ng Free Legal Services.

3. Kapag pasok sa qualification, bibigyan kayo ng appointment date upang makausap ang abugado from IBP Rizal-RSM.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Naninirahan sa Marikina
2. "The total family income should not be more than twice of the minimum wage"

Ang minimum wage dito sa NCR ay ₱658 to ₱695 per day.

Sabihin na nating ₱695 x 24 days = ₱16,680 (per month) x 2 = ₱33,360 x 12 months = ₱400,320 per year) (wala pang deductions ito).

So ang makakapag avail ng serbisyo na ito ay ang mga taga Marikina na ang total na kinikita ng BUONG PAMILYA ay hindi tataas sa P33k per month or ₱400k per year.

𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹–𝗥𝗦𝗠 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲ñ𝗼!

Ngayong ika-17 ng Hunyo 2026, pormal na nilagdaan ng IBP Rizal–RSM Chapter at ng Tanggapan ng Bise Alkalde ng Lungsod ng Marikina, sa pangunguna ni Vice Mayor Hon. Del R. De Guzman at sa pakikiisa ni Former Councilor Mark Albert J. Del Rosario, ang Memorandum of Agreement para sa programang Katarungang Abot-Kamay ng Bawat Marikeño.

Bilang bahagi ng kasunduang ito, mayroon nang 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝗟𝗢𝗗𝗜) 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸 sa Marikina City upang mas mailapit ang libreng serbisyong legal sa ating mga kababayan.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay pinangunahan ng aming Deputy Director for Local Government Affairs, Atty. Vin Ching, isang proud na Marikeño. Sa kanyang pagsisikap at pakikipagtulungan sa Tanggapan ng Bise Alkalde, mas naging posible ang pagdadala ng serbisyong legal na mas malapit sa mga Marikeño.

Sa pamamagitan ng LODI, handang makinig at magbigay ng paunang legal na gabay ang mga volunteer lawyers ng IBP Rizal–RSM para sa mga nangangailangan ng legal na tulong.

Sa aming mga kababayang Marikeño, bukas na po ang inyong LODI Desk.

Dahil ang hustisya ay hindi dapat malayo. Dapat ito ay abot-kamay.

Kapag Lumalapit ang Batas, Lumalakas ang Pamayanan.

Noong 14 Hunyo 2026, nagsama-sama ang IBP Rizal–RSM, Barangay Oranbo, Pasig City, at Tau Gamma Phi Oranbo Community Chapter para sa Oranbo Legal Aid Service, isang araw ng pagkatuto, pagkakaisa, at paglilingkod para sa komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng seminar para sa mga miyembro ng Lupon Tagapamayapa, naibahagi ang mga kaalaman at praktikal na gabay na makatutulong sa kanila sa kanilang mahalagang tungkulin bilang unang hantungan ng maraming alitan at hindi pagkakaunawaan sa barangay. Kasabay nito, nagbigay rin ng libreng legal na konsultasyon ang ating mga volunteer lawyers para sa mga residenteng nangangailangan ng legal na gabay.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa pamunuan ng Barangay Oranbo sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Richard Pua para sa kanilang pakikipagtulungan at pagtitiwala. Espesyal na pasasalamat din kay Kagawad Gabriel Victor Martinez, na naging pangunahing katuwang ng Chapter sa pagbuo at matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng programang ito.

Maraming salamat din sa ating mga volunteer lawyers, resource speakers, at mga kasamang naglaan ng kanilang Linggo upang maglingkod. Ang inyong oras, kaalaman, at malasakit ang dahilan kung bakit mas maraming mamamayan ang nagkaroon ng pagkakataong makatanggap ng legal na gabay at mas maraming barangay officials ang nabigyan ng dagdag na kakayahan upang mas mapaglingkuran ang kanilang komunidad.

Naniniwala kami na kapag mas napapalapit ang batas sa mga tao, mas nagiging matatag ang mga pamayanan at mas nagiging maaabot ang hustisya para sa lahat.

Kung nais din ng inyong barangay na magkaroon ng seminar para sa Lupon Tagapamayapa, legal information drive, o libreng legal consultation para sa inyong komunidad, bukas ang IBP Rizal–RSM sa pakikipagtulungan. Makipag-ugnayan lamang sa aming Chapter Office upang mapag-usapan kung paano natin maihahatid ang programa sa inyong lugar.

Planting Roots of Service, Near and Far 🌱

On June 13-14, 2026, members of IBP Rizal–RSM joined fellow lawyers from across the Southern Luzon Region in Calatagan, Batangas for the SLR Mangrove Planting Activity and the IBP Nationwide Synchronized Tree Planting Activity, contributing to efforts aimed at environmental protection and sustainability.

At the same time, another contingent from the Chapter participated in the IBP Nationwide Synchronized Tree Planting Activity at Maybunga Rainforest Park, Pasig City, answering the call to serve within one of the communities that form part of our jurisdiction.

Whether along the shores of Calatagan or in the heart of Pasig, our members came together with a shared purpose: to help protect the environment and contribute, in our own way, to a greener future.

We extend our gratitude to all the lawyers, volunteers, and partners who participated in these meaningful initiatives. Your willingness to serve reminds us that our commitment as lawyers extends beyond the practice of law and into the communities we are privileged to serve.
