The ILS stands with the Filipino people in commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution.

While People Power was remembered by some as a "peaceful, bloodless revolution," the history behind the same is not as simple.

The road that lead to the masses flooding EDSA, was a road paved by resistance, violence, and hope.

The Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Administration plundered the Philippine treasury, silenced its dissenters, and slayed innocent Filipinos.

Despite that dreary reality, the shared hope for a better Philippine nation conquered above all.
