Chris holds a BCL degree from Oxford University (Brasenose College) and an LLB from Bristol University (where he was the holder of the Malaysian British High Commissioner's Award). He has held numerous academic scholarships prior to that. He is qualified to practice law in England and Wales, Malaysia and in the Hong Kong SAR, where he practiced at Messrs Baker & McKenzie and as in-house counsel at Hong Kong Disneyland. He has also acted as Legal Counsel at the world's largest online betting company. His clients include listed companies, multinationals and very high net worth families and individuals, including Malaysian Royalty. He has been involved in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, litigation (including contested Federal Court matters, being Malaysia's apex court, arguing ground-breaking corporate law) and helped to advise on Forest City, the world's largest property project. He has sat on the board of a listed oil and gas company in Malaysia and various Malaysian boards of Singapore listed companies. He considers himself very blessed to have had the career experiences he has had these nearly three decades and looks forward to more challenges ahead.
