(Penang, 07.09.2026) New progress on the tragedy of fallen tree at Penang Peranakan Mansion causing drath of 2 China tourists in 2024!

The suit has been fixed for Full Trial at Butterworth High Court today, attended by our managing partner Mr Ng Kian Nam together with our Penang branch partner Ms Mindy Choo.

The son/ brother of 2 Deceaseds, Mt Liu Yu Hui also purposely fly from Province of Hei Long Jiang, China, to act as witness, accompanied by the Consulate Geeneral of China in Penang, Mr Lei Yu, as subpoenaed witness.

Our firm provide pro bono service to the victims' family to improve the awareness of all our relevant authorities to have basic accountability to protect the safety and dignity of our tourists and public.

There are 6 Defendants named by the Deceaseds' next of kin include Penang Peranakan Mansion, its neighbor/Tree owner, Sri Kumaran Textile Sdn Bhd, the driver Har Kwai Leng and Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang.
