Importance of a Will

A will is the testator’s (the person making the will) wishes on how their assets (the estate) are to be distributed after their death.

If a person dies without a will, the estate is distributed under the Distribution Act 1958. The process is more costly and lengthy. Their assets can only be distributed according to a fixed formula.

To ensure one's wishes regarding assets and children are materialised upon passing, it is important to draw up a valid will. Our lawyers are ready to assist if you are interested to prepare a will.
