A pleader, however, is more than a mere agent or servant of his client. He is also an officer of the Court, and as such he owes the duty of good faith and honourable dealing to the Courts before which he practices his profession. His high vocation is to inform the Court as to the law and facts of the case and to aid it to do justice by arriving at correct conclusions.
ရှေ့နေရှေ့ရပ်များသည် အမှုသည်၏ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖြစ်ဆောင်ရွက်သူသာမဟုတ်ဘဲ တရားရုံး၏ အရာရှိ (Officer of the Court) တစ်ဦးလည်း ဖြစ်သဖြင့် မိမိအမှုလိုက်ပါဆောင်ရွက်သည့် တရားရုံးများရှေ့တွင် ရိုးဖြောင့်စွာ (good faith) နှင့် ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာနှင့်အညီ ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း (honourable dealing) ဟူသော တာဝန်များကို ထမ်းဆောင်ရသည်။
ရှေ့နေ၏ အဓိက တာဝန်မှာ အမှုနှင့်သက်ဆိုင်သော ဥပဒေနှင့် အချက်အလက်များကို တရားရုံးအား မှန်ကန်စွာ တင်ပြခြင်းဖြင့် တရားရုံးက မှန်ကန်သော ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက် ချမှတ်နိုင်စေရန်နှင့် တရားမျှတမှုကို ဖော်ဆောင်နိုင်စေရန် ကူညီပေးခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
