Nardò on the Rise: 57,000+ Arrivals Boost Its Rank Among Puglia’s Top Destinations

We’re excited to share that Nardò has leapt from 20ᵗʰ to 16ᵗʰ place in the list of Puglia’s top 20 destinations — with over 57,600 arrivals recorded in the first eight months of 2025. 

Some highlights:
• +14.8% growth in arrivals year-on-year, with over 16,000 international visitors. 
• An uptick in overnight stays too: ≈ 307,600 presences, up 6.7%. 
• Nardò now ranks ahead of famed spots like Alberobello and Castellaneta, closing in on destinations like Polignano a Mare. 

As the local Tourism & Marketing Councilor puts it, this is more than a bragging right — it’s evidence that authenticity, gastronomy, and experiential tourism are paying off.
