In the present scenario, the debate between IMA( Allopathy) Vs Swami Ramdev has been highlighted in front of the general public who are not aware about the fact of origin of Ayurveda and it's modern advances.The Ayurvedic science is an ancient science and are based on three major grantha written by its three great authors- 1) Charak 2) Shushrath and 3) Nagarjuna. Charak discovered the medicine from herbs, Shushrath was a great surgeon of ancient times and Nagarjuna was the creator of bhasma and rasrasya which is more than 5000 years old. Ayurveda is not discovered by Baba Ramdev. However, the current debate makes it seem like Baba Ramdev is the originator of Ayurveda. The association of allopathic doctors are claiming that Baba Ramdev and his claime about the Ayurvedic system of medicine is not authentic which cannot be true. A person can be fake but the 5000 year old system cannot be fake. Modern medicine plastic surgery book also suggests that Shushrath was the father of surgery. Even in the various TV debates, the advocate that appeared supported patanjali/ Baba Ramdev being their legal incharge but the anchor of the debate introduced him as the co chairman of bar council of Delhi which is not appropriate. I want to know whether my fellow advocates agree with my objection that if the advocate is representing the bar council then they should debate as an a neutral advocate and not in favour of one party. If you want to represent one party then you should declare yourself as an advocate of that party and not represent it as the view of entire bar council. If we represent ourselves as the bar council and defend only one party, then it creates a bias in the audience assuming that the entire advocate fraternity agrees with one view. This sheds a very negative light on the bar council and we should definitely object against the same.
