– this is Louise Lambton, legal secretary to Charlotte Fairfax.
Louise has worked as a legal secretary since leaving school, and most recently here at Merritts assisting Charlotte in our conveyancing department.

Out of work, her time is spent with her two dogs Obi (Old English Sheepdog) and Skye (Golden Retriever); she enjoys hiking, agility training with aforementioned dogs, and camping.

We had a wonderful evening at the Northern Law Awards on Thursday night - we were honoured to be shortlisted as firm of the year. Congratulations to Ison Harrison Solicitors on taking the title and to all of the other finalists; Nicholls Solicitors, Nouveau Legal, Reecethomaswatsonlegal, Grey Smith Legal.
It was a great evening and to be out celebrating as a team, and acknowledging all the hard work that our people do.

- this is Jade Snaith who joined us in May, legal secretary to Partner, Paula. Jade recently finished her LLB law degree at Teesside University and officially graduates in July. In her own words in terms of joining us: 'I applied and was lucky enough to secure the role. I want to thank the partners and my colleagues for the warm welcome, guidance and support as I settle into the role. I look forward to continuing to grow and develop, especially under the guidance of Paula Warburton who has been nothing short of amazing.'

Outside of work, she has a little girl Amelia who loves a good hike and a day trip, as well as spending time with her partner and family, travelling and eating out.

Sarah's career started out in office administration at another local firm and then she became a legal secretary here with us. She's worked in Wills and Probate for nearly 20 years and been at Merritts four and a half years.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and family and going on holiday.
