⏱️ How Long Does a Spouse Visa Take?

Waiting for a decision on a Spouse Visa can feel like a long time, particularly when you're making plans to live together in the UK.

Current Home Office processing times are generally:
Applying from outside the UK: usually within 12 weeks
Applying from inside the UK: usually within 8 weeks where the financial and English-language requirements are met.

These are not guarantees. More complex applications can take longer to process, as can cases where further evidence is required, documents need to be verified, or UKVI needs more information about an applicant's circumstances.

A well-prepared application can't guarantee a quicker decision but, making sure the correct information and supporting evidence are provided from the outset can help avoid unnecessary problems or requests for further information.

📋 Sponsor Licence Compliance Check

Obtaining a Sponsor Licence isn't the end of an employer's responsibilities - sponsors have ongoing duties throughout the life of their licence.

So, how confident are you that your business is keeping on top of them?
