πŸŽ“ Bachelor’s or Master’s graduates: Apply for your Graduate visa before 31 December 2026.

From 1 January 2027, the Graduate visa for Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates drops from 2 years to 18 months. Apply before the change, and you could keep the full 2 years to work, gain experience and plan your next move in the UK.

βœ… Who this affects:
β€’ Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates finishing in 2026
β€’ Students whose university has confirmed course completion to the Home Office
β€’ Applicants still in the UK on a valid Student visa

⚠️ You can only apply once your university has reported your successful completion, so check your timeline now, not in late December.

Can you apply for a UK Skilled Worker visa without a CoS letter in 2026?

The Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is an electronic record, not a physical letter. To apply for a Skilled Worker visa, you generally need a valid CoS reference number assigned by your UK sponsor.

If you have a UK job offer but do not have your CoS yet, RZ Immigration Practice can help you understand your immigration position and the requirements for your application.

🚨 HUGE UK Visa Changes Just Dropped! (Skilled Worker & Fee Waiver applications) πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

The Home Office has officially shaken up the UK immigration rules under a new Statement of Changes on 03 September 2026 and you need to pay close attention if you’re working or applying in the UK!

Here is what is shifting:

πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈ Skilled Worker Modern Slavery Protections: From October 8, recognised victims of modern slavery on a Skilled Worker visa can work with someone other then their sponsor, subject to rules.

⚠️ Fee Waiver: The rules are tightening on fee waivers.

πŸŽ“ **Your UK Student or Graduate visa is ending. What’s your next move?**

This is the point where many international students and graduates start asking:

**β€œCan I stay in the UK after my studies?”**

The answer depends on your individual circumstances β€” but there may be several immigration routes worth exploring.

Depending on your situation, you could potentially look at:

πŸ’Ό Skilled Worker Visa
🌟 Global Talent Visa
πŸš€ Innovator Founder Visa
πŸŽ“ Further study through the Student route
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Family-based immigration routes
πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Other routes you may qualify for

But here’s the important part:

**Don’t wait until your visa is about to expire.**

Your next immigration route should be planned around your **career, qualifications, salary, job, business plans and long-term goals in the UK**.

For some graduates, the right answer may be employment.

For others, it could be entrepreneurship, talent-based immigration, further study or a family route.

There is **no one-size-fits-all visa solution.**

And choosing the wrong route β€” or leaving it too late β€” can create unnecessary problems.

πŸ“Œ **Save this post** if you’re an international student or graduate in the UK.

πŸ“€ **Share it with someone who is trying to work out their next step.**

πŸ’¬ **Which route are you considering after your Student or Graduate visa?**

🚨 **UK SPONSOR LICENCE UPDATE β€” 3 SEPTEMBER 2026**

If your business holds a **UK Sponsor Licence**, this is an update you shouldn’t scroll past.

The Home Office has published new immigration rule and sponsorship updates today β€” and they could be relevant to businesses that:

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Hold a UK Sponsor Licence
πŸ‘₯ Sponsor Skilled Workers
πŸ“‹ Are responsible for sponsor compliance
🏒 Are planning to apply for a Sponsor Licence
πŸ“ˆ Are looking to recruit overseas workers

**The important part?**

Sponsor licence compliance isn’t something businesses can afford to treat as a one-time application.

The rules, guidance and expectations can change β€” and employers need to make sure their sponsorship processes remain up to date.

If you are a **UK employer, business owner or sponsor licence holder**, now is a good time to review your current position.

πŸ“Œ **SAVE this post** β€” especially if your business sponsors overseas workers.

πŸ“€ **SHARE it with a business owner or HR professional who needs to know.**

We’ll break down what the latest **UK Sponsor Licence updates from 3 September 2026** mean for employers.

Follow **RZ Immigration** for practical updates on UK immigration, Sponsor Licences and business immigration.
