🌟 Renewing Wills – Client Feedback 🌟

Well, it certainly hasn’t taken Abigail long to settle back into her role at the firm! She’s already receiving excellent client feedback and has picked up exactly where she left off.

A client recently shared these lovely words following an appointment with Abigail to renew and update their Wills:

🎉 Celebrating an incredible 40 years! 🎉

Today marks a very special milestone for Rachel French, Legal Assistant in our Private Client Team, as she celebrates an amazing 40 years with the firm.

Rachel joined us as a fresh-faced teenager, starting her career as an Office Junior. Four decades later, she remains a hugely valued member of our team and has seen more than a few changes along the way!

Reaching 40 years with one firm is a remarkable achievement and a real testament to Rachel’s loyalty, dedication and commitment. Over the years, she has become a familiar and trusted face to colleagues and clients alike, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to our Private Client Team.

We would like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to Rachel on this fantastic milestone. Here’s to 40 years of memories, friendships and achievements.

🪓 All rise… and mind the axes!

For our quarterly social, we swapped legal briefs for bullseyes at Lumberjaxs Axe Throwing Nuneaton based in Attleborough.

First came some expert tuition from Coggy and his team which included a safety briefing, followed by lessons in throwing one-handed and then two-handed. Coggy made it look easy, but we quickly discovered that axe throwing is much harder than it looks!

Then, armed with questionable nicknames and newfound confidence, the competition began. ⚖️

There were some impressive throws, plenty of misses and a few performances best described as “mitigating circumstances”.

The final didn’t quite live up to the hype, with the axes doing their best to avoid the target. But our Head of Accounts, Phil Invernizzi, came out victorious! Having scored the most points overall, the evidence was firmly in his favour. 👑

The verdict? A worthy winner, a brilliant evening and plenty of laughs. No grounds for appeal, although some of us may request a retrial!

And if you’re wondering why the axes were out for Rachel in the last photo… she’s soon leaving us for pastures new outside the legal world! All in good fun, of course with no axe to grind, just our best wishes for her next chapter.

✨ Eternal Lights 2026 ✨

We are proud once again to be supporting Eternal Lights, Devall & Son Family Funeral Directors’ annual memorial service, held in partnership with Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

📅 Sunday 6th December 2026
📍 Attleborough Green, Nuneaton

Eternal Lights is a special opportunity for our community to come together to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us. It is a moving occasion of reflection, remembrance and togetherness at what can be a particularly difficult time of year.

As part of the service, you are warmly invited to submit a photo tribute to a loved one, which will be included in the memorial video shown on a large outdoor screen during the service.

A minimum donation of £20 per tribute is kindly requested, with every penny going directly to support the wonderful work of Mary Ann Evans Hospice and the care it provides to local people and their families.

Our sincere thanks go to Devall & Son Family Funeral Directors and Mary Ann Evans Hospice for once again bringing our community together for this meaningful occasion. We are privileged to play a small part in supporting Eternal Lights.

Eternal Lights – Photo Uploads Now Live 💙

As part of our annual Eternal Lights Christmas Memorial Service, in partnership with Mary Ann Evans Hospice, we warmly invite you to honour and remember your loved ones by uploading a photo tribute to be included in our memorial video.

The video will be displayed on a large outdoor screen during our service on Sunday 6th December 2026, creating a special moment for us all to come together, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those we hold dear.

To submit your tribute, simply upload a photograph, add your loved one’s name and include a short message of up to 50 characters.

A huge thank you to the team at LDJ Solicitors , who took part in the Wolf Run on Saturday 12th September to raise vital funds for Mary Ann Evans Hospice. 🌻

Alongside their fundraising efforts for the Wolf Run, the team also organised a raffle, helping them raise an incredible £606 in total!

We are so grateful to the whole team for supporting our hospice in such a fun way. Your generosity and enthusiasm mean so much to us and help us continue providing care and support to local families. 💜
