Facing higher-division opposition with just 11 players and putting in a performance like that is something to be incredibly proud of. To take the game to them, create so many chances and lead twice shows the quality, determination and team spirit within this squad.

Results don't always tell the full story, and this sounds like a performance full of heart, resilience and commitment from every single player. Keep believing, keep working hard and keep enjoying your football. The progress being made is clear to see.

Ladies bow out of cup!

A fantastic effort from our 11 players today against higher-division opposition! 💥
We dominated the first 25 minutes with chance after chance and took a deserved 1–0 lead thanks to a brilliant first-half strike. A brief lapse in concentration just before the break allowed Duffield to pull one back, sending us into half-time level. We came out firing in the second half and struck again to regain the lead! ⚽

As the half went on, Duffield grew into the game and managed to push ahead, taking a 4–2 win in the end.
While we're out of the Plate, we couldn't be prouder of the team.
Every single player gave it everything from start to finish—onwards and upwards to the next one! ⚽👏

Meet the Team👋

We’re delighted to introduce Sam our Head of Education, a qualified secondary teacher with experience across mainstream education, SEND and inclusive settings.

Sam holds a BA in English Language and Linguistics and a PGCE in Secondary English, and is currently completing an MA in Trauma-Informed Practice at the University of Nottingham.

Drawing on her experience in education, Sam supports children, young people and families to navigate education processes, including SEND and EHCPs, admissions, exclusions, attendance, alternative provision and post-16 support.

She is passionate about making complex education systems easier to understand and takes an approachable, compassionate and practical approach to supporting families. 💛

Outside of work, Sam enjoys reading, travelling, visiting museums and historical sites, and spending time with her family and cat. 📚✈️🏛️🐈
