Stop door hinges from squeaking!
Before reaching for the oil, tighten the hinge screws first. Loose screws can cause movement that leads to squeaks. If it still squeaks, remove the hinge pin, wipe away dirt, apply a small amount of lubricant, and reinstall it. Your door will open smoothly and quietly in just a few minutes!
