BREAKING: The CMA has launched an investigation into Trainline, Virgin Atlantic and RED driving school for drip pricing such as 'booking fees', amid concerns that consumers were not aware until they came to pay as a final price.
The price you see at the start should be the price you pay. Mandatory 'booking fees' shouldnโt appear at the end when you come to pay.
The companies are being investigated, so no findings have yet been made, but the CMA says consumers could receive compensation if they find these firms have broken the law.
Ringo app 'convenience fees' should be banned as well - another income stream that's split with local authorities.
What do you think? Which firms have you used that have hit you with extra fees at the checkout?
