If you have a sales focus for new build homes & developer this will be of interest.

We are working with the Home Builders Federation to include additional requirements that new home builders need from the digital identity trust scheme, aligned to the DCMS Framework. These standards will go beyond the framework’s rules in a bid to better meet consumer and industry needs. Working with a range of representatives including Barratt Developments PLC, Bellway PLC, Berkeley Group, Miller Homes Ltd, Persimmon PLC, Telford Homes Ltd and the Vistry Group PLC, these standards are currently being scoped out.

Details on the HBF website at www.hbf.co.uk/policy/digital-identity

Many new home builders rely on their partner agencies to carry out customer IDV & AML checks for compliance. So if you'd like to learn more and get involved please do get in touch.

The consultation has now gone out to all HBF members with the objectives of ensuring that the customer only needs to get their IDV & AML done once by a certified identity provider who can also meet the MyIdentity scheme standards. Furthermore, reduce the number of checks a customer has to go through, reducing customer friction, which will help towards speeding up the process, increase the barriers to fraud and reduce risk, and support wider reuse of the identity.

If you would like to learn more please get in touch.

Etive Technologies (Etive) is working with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) to support homebuilders in complying with government regulation and make identity and anti-money laundering checks easier, faster, and more secure.

Etive is working with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) to support homebuilders in complying with government regulation and make identity and anti-money laundering checks easier, faster and more secure.

Etive has been working with the HBF to develop a verification scheme to address the current challenges associated with the verification process, and support compliance with the Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework developed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

The MyIdentity® scheme enables consumers to carry out digital identity and anti-money laundering checks and share them with organisations as and when they need to. This means checks can be carried out at the beginning of the buying/selling process, reducing customer friction and duplication of effort.

As part of this work, we have been working with a range of people from Barratt Developments PLC, Bellway PLC, Berkeley Group, Miller Homes Ltd, Persimmon PLC, Telford Homes Ltd and the Vistry Group PLC to explore these additional standards and we are now seeking views from the wider industry.

HBF sent out project information to all members on the 13th December. If you missed these and want to learn more get in touch with us by emailing [email protected].
