After so many years of hoping, that little embryo that worked ❤️ Looking back two years ago to that Embryo Transfer Day, fingers crossed was this going to work for us?

Was I too old? Was the embryo good enough? I was over 40 when it had been created. Could we do any more? Our precious surrogate was so patient and she gave us the most magical gift. We cannot thank you enough.

June is a special month as we remember that gift of life, that surrogacy success story, our little miracle girl. We are blessed to have a beautiful ongoing relationship with our surrogate.

June is sadly touched by loss as we remember my mother, our special nanna that our little girl never got to meet. I miss you every day and know you are watching over our little girl and teaching her from afar. I hear you when I read to her, when I sing nursery rhymes and remember that wisdom you gave me. Always in our hearts and never forgotten. This little one is your inspiration, she has your spirit and strength already.

As the founder of we have that unique experience, that personal surrogacy journey

“IVF is a lifestyle choice” declared Bridget Porter, the Reform UK councillor for Dover North. She has compared it to “butt lifts” and “boob jobs” stating that it is frivolous spending and simply not a health necessity for the NHS trust!

It is shocking to hear such an insensitive remark by a female politician and she has been openly criticised. Infertility affects approximately 1 in 7 couples in the UK, which equates to about 3.5 million people.

It’s disappointing to hear that Kent and Medway NHS are dropping the qualifying age criteria for applicants for IVF to 38, previously 40, and now offering only one NHS IVF cycle to those suffering with infertility.

Sadly, this creates inequality and unfairness to access IVF with a range of different criteria across the trusts throughout England.

In 2009, the World Health Organisation (WHO) recognised Infertility as a disease of the reproductive system. IVF is not considered a matter of choice and it is the only way for these 3.5 million people to have their own children.

These children are our future, our investment, and the many women suffering with infertility caused by PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, hysterectomy, and post cancer infertility look to our NHS for help and support. We are lagging behind our other countries in Europe in NHS funding and accessibility for fertility treatment.

What a momentous event this weekend at Swansea Football Club for the Wales v Europe charity match for childhood cancer. Well done for organising the whole match event and it was amazing to see the players wearing the t-shirts with

Childhood cancer is often overlooked and it was awesome to see the football celebrities pulling together for such an awesome cause. Sadly many children have been lost to this awful disease.

Childhood cancer is a cause very close to our hearts and we will never stop supporting it. Our founder and director .ash80 was 4 when she had a type of childhood cancer, non hodgkins lymphoma and was fortunately treated successfully at Llandough Hospital Cardiff.

We need better funding to help our children, better treatments, kinder drugs, less side effects. We need to work harder to save our children from this awful illness and the extensive side effects and help their families through this difficult time.

What a momentous day for Welsh politics and the future of Wales!

The people of Wales have voted and Plaid Cymru is now the largest party in Wales with 43 seats in the Senedd out of 96. Rhun ap Iorwerth is the new First Minister.

Eluned Morgan, the previous Welsh Labour First Minister has given her resignation speech after losing her position and her seat in West Wales.

The valleys of Wales have historically been Labour through and through for a century. Caerphilly was previously a Labour heartland until October when the people of Caerphilly voted for change with Plaid Cymru in the by election and the leadership of Lindsay Whittle.

Strongholds in Wales of key historical figures such as Aneurin Bevan, Neil Kinnock, Michael Foot have changed direction and voted against Labour.

There has been much frustration with the NHS, the economy, the high cost of living, and that Labour is no longer the party of working people.

What a momentous day for Welsh people today! What will the Senedd election results conclude for Wales?

It's certainty be a key day in history as Welsh Labour are forecast to experience huge losses in Wales and Eluned Morgan is not anticipated to return as the Welsh Labour First Minister.

Wales has traditionally had a huge Labour following and Labour has been in power for 27years in the Welsh Parliament. There is expected to be a great change for our Country and the battle is anticipated to be between Plaid Cymru and Reform. Leaders are Rhun ap Iorwerth or Dan Thomas who could be fighting for the post of First Minister.

The first Senedd Results are expected shortly this afternoon. Some areas may announce at about 3pm to 5pm this afternoon with other results expected later this evening. Will we have a final result by the end of today? The final count may roll in to the weekend.
