First off, thank you for the overwhelming response through LinkedIn and email! It's been a VERY hectic few weeks. But it's all good.
Many of you must have already received an email about this, but Mark off your calendars for the 22nd of September, and join us at our conference halls in Oakville as we partner with the local v**e stores to give you information, not only about the benefits of va**ng over smoking, but also the impact of recent legalization of medical and recreational cannabis in Canada. There has been a lot of anti-va**ng propaganda on the news lately, and we aim to set the record straight and help you understand why most of what you hear/see online is not entirely true. We believe black-market THC products need to be outlawed. We believe that legalization is a HUGE step, not only for health reasons, but for employment and the economy as well. Most people were contacted by have concerns about their CRS score and how (if ever) they can improve it. In truth, there is very little one can do to increase a CRS score. However, it's also something that shouldn't concern you too much anyway! The fact is, yes, things like local work experience, education and a job offer can help boost a score. A job can add up to 200 points to the CRS, and that does quite often boost the applicant's points enough to be able to get an ITA under the skilled workers program. But some jobs also just add 50 points. And sometimes no job is enough to get a score up to a point where an applicant qualifies for an ITA outright through the Express Entry draw. But those are exactly the times where a PNP is such a great opportunity. There are so many different immigration programs running right now in parallel, but so little reliable information about them.
