Duncan Craig LLP was proud to serve as Honorary Sponsor of Scotiabank’s 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Alberta Women’s Health Foundation.

This year’s tournament raised more than $125,000 to help advance women’s health research—an important area that has historically been underfunded and under-researched.

It was fantastic to see so many members of Edmonton’s business community come together for a great day of golf and, more importantly, to support work that can make a meaningful difference in the health and lives of women across Alberta.

This marks the second consecutive year Duncan Craig LLP has successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II audit, demonstrating our continued commitment to maintaining strong and effective controls for protecting sensitive information.

SOC 2 Type II evaluates not only how an organization’s controls are designed, but how effectively those controls operate over an extended period of time. Successfully completing the audit for a second year provides ongoing assurance that our security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy practices continue to meet rigorous standards.

What is SOC 2?

SOC 2 is a rigorous auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates how organizations manage data based on five Trust Services Criteria:

Rachel graduated from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, where she was awarded the Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize. During law school, she interned with Senator Kim Pate and worked with a family lawyer on issues relating to family violence, parenting, and child protection.
