This week the Bank of Canada announced a 25 basis point interest rate cut, bringing the policy rate to 2.5%. This is the first rate cut since March and comes in response to a weaker Canadian economy and easing inflationary pressures.

Hello, hope everyone had a lovely summer! 👋 ☀️

The Edmonton market has cooled overall slightly over the July & August months, which seasonally always happens. There are still hot pockets of intense action on listings depending on neighbourhood- not too surprising as real estate is mega local.

In the past few weeks we’ve seen an uptick generally from both buyers and sellers. Now that September is upon the horizon and the summer fun is fading, folks are ready to make moves on the real estate front.
