🏡Chatham-Kent Market Update🏡

The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Chatham-Kent Association of REALTORS® totaled 115 units in September 2026. This was a sizable gain of 12.7% (13 sales) from September 2025. Residential sales haven’t hit this level in the month of September in five years.

The average price of homes sold in September 2026 was $410,864, a decline of 4.2% from September 2025.

The number of new listings saw a moderate decrease of 8.1% from September 2025. There were 274 new residential listings in September 2026. New listings were 9.8% above the five-year average and 29.9% above the 10-year average for the month of September..
