This article interests me for a whole variety of reasons none more than thinking of those that put their lives at risk to counter terrorism in our magnificent country. ASIO will most certainly rely on the Australian Federal Police and joint counter terrosism teams to enforce warrants and arrests, but what of the ongoing defiance and opposition to give AFP members a pay rise at a time where they are one of the lowest paid law enforcement agencies in the country! This ridiculous defiance is seeing an exodus of AFP members and a deflating sense of self worth for those that remain as keepers of the peace. Support the Australian Federal Police Association as they fight hard to have the brave men and women of our national police force properly remunerated for giving you a good nights sleep.
