Zimbabwe's government has gazetted the revised compliance fees for all local authorities, aiming to boost business growth and investment. The changes include slashed parking rates, abolished levies, and streamlined licensing procedures. For instance, parking fees are now capped at $0.50 per hour, and liquor license application fees have been reduced from $1,080 to $20. The government is also consolidating multiple permits into a single business license and removing unnecessary fees .

The reforms target 12 key sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing, with the goal of reducing bureaucratic hurdles and costs. The move is expected to enhance competitiveness, attract investment, and promote economic growth, aligning with Zimbabwe's Vision 2030
