As we remember the victims of the 1st of August 2018 shooting, we must also remember those who chose to vilify, rather than stand with, citizens exercising their constitutional right to demonstrate. Zimbabweans in the UK, friends of Zimbabwe, and all defenders of democracy, the Federation invites you to a Town Hall Meeting on 6 June 2026 at John Foster Hall, Oadby, Leicester from 1 PM - 5PM.

The meeting will be addressed by the CDF Convener Tendai Biti, who will share key insights on the constitutional crisis and the way forward for our country.

This is a moment to engage, organise, and stand together against Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.

Contrary to claims of advancing any developmental agenda, it seeks to advance and protect the continuation of corruption, misgovernance, poor service delivery, rising unemployment, deepening poverty, and the daily hardships our people endure. The denial of bail to Takunda Mhuka is deeply unjust and unacceptable. It reflects a justice system that is failing to uphold fairness, proportionality, and the basic rights of individuals.
