Dear valued present and potential clients,
In our view, the changes to the estates administration law make the writing of wills even more advisable. This is because the procedure of appointing an executor to administer a deceased estate has become longer as the Master no longer just finishes the process in an edict meeting, but must also take the issue to the High Court. If a will is written and appoints an executor the process is simpler and shorter.
Our experience in the estates we administer and the ones for which we have drafted wills is that that iis more convenient for the beneficiaries and surviving families.
Have you written your will? It is easier than you may think, and is best done with the help of a professional to ensure it is valid.
Have you registered the deceased estates of relatives, as the law requires? It will s a crime not to, and complicates family relationships into the future if it is not done. Obtaining legal advice about these issues helps.
