In 1998 he established a close corporation called MPT MVA Assessors and debt collectors which specialized in the assessment of the merits and quantum investigations in third party claims. He received instructions from both attorneys and RAF on investigations of the merits and quantum and preparations of the assessments reports. He gave opinion on settlement of the merits and preparations on quantum after investigating the same.

1.Merits and Quantum Investigations.
2.Taking photographs of the scene of the accident with claimants and witnesses and preparation of the rough sketch plan and key.
3.Taking measurements at the scene of the accident.
4.Consultation with witnesses at the scene and obtaining their statements.
5.Drawing merits assessment report and advice on settlement of the merits that is apportionment to be applied or whether merits should be conceded.
6.Consultation with police officers and ambulance crew who arrived at first at the scene of an accident.
7.Obtaining accident report plan and key and the contents of the docket.
8.Clerk of the court if criminal proceedings were instituted against the insured driver and the outcome of the criminal prosecutions.
9.Independent witnesses statements to be obtained.
10.Post-mortem report and inquest to be obtained where death occurred
11.Investigate the paternity of the deceased and the children who are dependents of the deceased and the validity of the claim.
12.Investigating employment of the deceased and the claimant in case of death.
13.Investigating employment history of the claimant/plaintiffs and taking a statement.
14.Taking photographs of material damages to the motor-vehicle and quotations of the motor-vehicle.
15.Investigating the locus standi of the claimant.
16.Tracing the employer and completing the employments certificate.
17.Obtaining full birth certificates to prove paternity.
18.Consultations with the chiefs in the rural areas if there is no marriage certificate and obtaining customary marriage certificate and/or declaration of marriage from the chief.
19.Obtaining statements from the members of the family and/or relatives in the dependents claim if the deceased had a duty to support the children.
20.Investigating whether the deceased had other source of income other than the salary he received from the employer.
21.Gathering all the information required in respect of the claim instituted.
22.Short-term insurance claims.
