We are honoured to have had the opportunity to assist Immobazyme (Pty) Ltd, a university start-up company, in registering their trade mark portfolio.

Immobazyme is the brain child of Dominic Nicholas, Ethan Hunter, MSc and Nick Enslin, who, together with Professor Leon Dicks from the Department of Microbiology; Stellenbosch University, developed a novel device that uses a microporous cellulose matrix to immobilise enzymes (to retain most of its activity) in vitro, and which can be used in the organic synthesis of commodity metabolites such as antibiotics, antidepressants and food additives.

A hilarious Letter of Demand has been sent to Bill Murray by the Doobie Brothers' Lawyer for using their song (Listen to the Music) in an ad campaign promoting his new golf clothing line "Zero Hucks Given" - without paying for it.
