Welcome to October, otherwise known as deadline season.

Year-end targets are breathing down your neck.
Someone in your office has already said "Q4 push" with a straight face.

Deadlines are stressful. We get it.

But there's one nobody diarises: the dead line. The day your family has to sort out everything you left behind.

No extension. No reminder email. No "let's pick this up in January."

Just 14 days to report the estate to the Master of the High Court. A will they hopefully find. And an executor who either knows exactly what happens next, or is about to learn on the job.

All month, we're talking about it: the deadlines, the dead lines, and the family WhatsApp group that falls apart somewhere in between.

Consider this your reminder. It's cheaper than the lesson.
