A special thank you to our distinguished speakers for sharing their knowledge and insights, and to the students who participated and showed great interest in advancing academic research within the legal field.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the BEC for their dedication and hard work in organizing such a successful and meaningful event.

An LLB graduate and Master of Laws candidate specialising in Aviation Law, Sipho currently serves as a Candidate Attorney at the UNISA Law Clinic, where he is actively involved in practical legal training and client representation.

His research focuses on regulatory harmonisation, airspace integration, and the development of the Single African Sky framework — contributing meaningfully to the future of aviation law in Africa.

He also serves on the Aviation Law Working Group, advancing research and policy development within the aviation sector.

Appointed in December 2023, she has presided over complex labour disputes with distinction — occupying the Bench with excellence, authority and integrity.

An Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, Adv. Panda holds:
🎓 LLB – University of Fort Hare
🎓 LLM (Commercial & Business Law) – University of the Witwatersrand
🎓 LLM (Tax Law) – University of Pretoria

His international exposure includes advanced training in International Human Rights Law with University of Oxford and George Washington University, as well as accreditation in Advanced Dispute Resolution from Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.

He previously served as a Legal Researcher at the Constitutional Court of South Africa, clerking for former Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.

BLASC UNISA Tshwane invites eligible law students to apply for the Summer Vacation Programme, in collaboration with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

Applicants must meet the prescribed academic requirements and be members in good standing. Please note that BLASC membership does not guarantee selection, as applicants are still required to meet the minimum eligibility and academic criteria set for the programme.

Applications must include:
• An academic transcript
• A CV reflecting any legal-related experience
