1. What's your role here at iR Worx, and what do you enjoy most about it?

I am one of the Senior legal consultants at iR Worx. The thing I enjoy the most is to successfully defend my own cases at the CCMA – Something that I have never done in the past.

2. Share a fun fact about yourself that most people wouldn't know.

I am currently in the process of learning how to play the piano as well as learning Zulu in my free time.

3. What hobbies or interests are you passionate about outside of work?

I try to play bowls every Sunday with the older generation. It is so much fun as a young person playing bowls with the retired people and having a few drinks and a braai afterwards.

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I have been fortunate enough to travel all across Europe, except for Ireland. I hear the scenery is something spectacular, so I would love to travel to Ireland, stay in one of the iconic Castles and have their traditional food with a Guinness Beer of course.

5. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

When I am stressed and overthinking scenarios in life, my best friend use to tell me “What is meant for you, shall not pass you by.” Wise words I live by as I know nothing will be placed on my path I cannot handle. Also, when I did criminal law, another advocate told me “Just because you did it, doesn’t mean you’re guilty.” – Advice I gave my clients.

6. What's your favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?

My favorite tv show of all time is most definitely The Office. I have watched all 9 Seasons approximately 15 times. Michael Scott and his infamous “that’s what she said” quotes never gets old.

7. What's something on your bucket list that you're determined to achieve?

I would love to successfully argue one of my own court cases in the Constitutional Court, or, sit in the bench of the Constitutional Court as a Judge – Wishful thinking, but my ultimate goal.
