Change in Covid Regulations just announced:

1. If you test positive with no symptoms, you are no longer required to isolate.

2. Isolation period for positive cases with symptoms reduced to 7 days.

3. No longer required to isolate if you were in contact with positive person, and show no symptoms.

4. School are allowed to operate to full capacity.

Domestic Workers Employment Compliance Registration means that if any domestic worker employed by you works more than 24 hours per month, you must register them with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and as of the 1st of March 2021 with Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA).

Registering a domestic worker – which is every employer’s responsibility and must be done as soon as employment begins.

The employer will be held fully responsible and not the employee.

Failing to do so is illegal and could lead to fines and, imprisonment, or both.
