To those who will be applying for jobs this year and foward. Take your time when applying, read the rules on how to apply, ask from those who have just been newly recruited for how to apply, follow the rules, qoute the Position and Reference number.
The process of recruitment has elimination stages. If your application form and your required CV and documents are clear and done correctly is decreases chances of you being eliminated early and increase your chances of being invited to the interview.

Be careful before you refuse to accept the employer's offer of alternative employment!

Section 41 (4) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997 (BCEA) states: ''An employee who unreasonably refuses to accept the employer's offer of alternative employment with that employer or any other employer, is not entitled to severence pay in terms of subsection (2).
