TMJ Attorneys is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer (preferably also admitted as a Notary Public) to head and manage our Conveyancing Department at our Umhlanga office.

Candidates will be considered if they meet the following criteria:
• Admitted Conveyancer with a minimum of 6–7 years’ experience in conveyancing
• Notary Public admission would be advantageous
• Strong experience in bond registrations, particularly with FNB and Nedbank
• Proven experience in handling property transfers from instruction to registration
• Ability to manage a conveyancing department and oversee support staff

We are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join our TMJ Attorneys Pietermaritzburg team.

Candidates will be considered if they meet the following criteria:
• 5-8 years of experience in transfers at a law firm, with proven ability to manage a substantial workload. Knowledge of estates will be beneficial.
• Tech-savvy with a proficiency in conveyancing software such as Lexis Convey, Lawdeed, accounting software, E4 (non-negotiable).
• Strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Written and/or verbal skills in Afrikaans will be beneficial.
• Must be a keen team player and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be target-driven and be able to work independently while playing a pivotal role in delivering excellent client service.
• Must have his or her own vehicle.
