IEASA Webinar – Your Complete 8 Step Marketing Plan
Getting the best results for the rest of the year.

Presenter: Paul Davies
Host: Annette Evans

Your Complete 8 Step Marketing Plan is an ever evolving and never the same Plan that is designed to assist the Property Practitioner with a Sole and Exclusive Mandate, to sell the property within a period of 8 Weeks. Using this programme, my personal sales ranged from 0 to a maximum of 43 days on the market - with an average of 7. My last sale while selling and renting in the industry was done in less than 24 hours, after taking over an overpriced mandate, dropping the price by R150k, changing the mandate from
Open to Exclusive, and professional fee from 5% to 7.5% plus VAT. And got paid that! Sound good? It should.

It’s not about how much marketing you do – it’s how you serve your client that truly matters.

Here’s my marketing plan for selling your home. This is a part of your experience with my brand and I, and the selling process. I don’t just plant a sign in front, publish your home in the multi listing services, and pray for a buyer! I work the next 3p’s!

Marketing Plan:
Week 0 - setup & pre-launch

Week 1 - launch
- The weekly report

Week 2 - analysis & improvements

Week 3 - optimization
- 3 simple rules in life
- Showday report back

Week 4 - performance
- The 4 types of time
- 5 keys to overcoming objections

Week 5 - evaluation & re-launch
- Five steps to take when you hear “no”

Week 6 - analysis & improvements
- 6 cs of customer motivation

Week 7 - optimization
- 7 manipulative ways people use to win any argument

Week 8 - agent network re-engagement
- 8 uncomfy truths that we all need to accept

IEASA invites you to a IEASA - Rental MasterClass Webinar Presented by Shaun Luyt on Rental Deposits and Damages.

We highly recommend this Rental Masterclass for Candidates and experienced rental agents, property practitioners and principals.

The Rental Housing Act is very prescriptive on the management of rental deposits and applying the deposits to the cost of repairing damages. Failure to adhere strictly to the prescripts of the Act can result in the landlord not being entitled to claim the cost of repairing damages from the rental deposit and having to foot the bill themselves. If this happens as a result of the failure of the rental agent failing to adhere to the prescripts of the RHA, the landlrod could be entitled to claim their loss from the agent!

In this MasterClass we will be delving into this topic in detail and answering, amongst others, the following questions:

- Is the landlord obliged to seek quotes?
- Does the landlord need the tenant's permission to deduct damages from their rental deposit?
- What happens if the ingoing inspection report has been lost?
- Can the landlord deduct damages on the basis of quotes?
- Is the tenant entitled to copies of the invoices?
- Does the tenant need to approve the cost of repairs?
- Does the tenant have a right to effect repairs themselves? If so, when?

Date: Thursday 13 October 2022
Time: 09h30 – 11h45
Cost: R300 IEASA members and Non-Members (cost is per attendee)
Location: Online via Zoom
CPD Points: 2 non-verifiable points for personal / professional category
