Day 3 Update
This week is flying by in full property mode.
I’ve been busy scheduling viewings for our three new rental properties (Upper Towers Road, Bay View Lodge and Bay Crest) visit www.gdprops.co.za to view— fingers crossed for some great tenants! At the same time, month-end mania is in full swing, making sure all tenant utilities are processed and sent out before close-off.
A big shout-out to Kevin Belcher at Homes Heroes for all your fantastic maintenance support — you’re a legend! 🛠️
Managing 50 rental properties is a challenge I truly love. Having the right support systems in place keeps tenants happy and owners satisfied, which makes this job so rewarding.

Day 4 Update
Still powering through! More viewings locked in and utilities nearly wrapped up — month end almost in the bag.
Since joining Glendyr Dade Properties at the end of 2024, every high and low has brought valuable lessons while learning on the run. I’m grateful for the journey.

Day 5 Update
Team GDP making Friday feel fantastic! Huge thanks to Glendyr, Cat, Darren, Graham, and my favourite teammate Derek (hubby ❤️) for the daily knowledge, advice, encouragement, and fun. Couldn’t do it without this amazing crew!

Day 2

What a fantastic start to the day!

This morning I had an early meeting in Fish Hoek with a lovely client and some truly special owners. The views from the property were absolutely breathtaking – honestly, when you have scenery like that, there’s simply no room for complaints!

The highlight of the day was some incredible news: we successfully placed a happy applicant into her dream beachside apartment. YAY!!!

Seeing her excitement made every bit of hard work worth it. There’s nothing better than matching the perfect tenant with the perfect home.

This afternoon I attended my first RPL online orientation. Huge shout-out to Charter Academy and especially our wonderful facilitator Theresa – she made everything so clear and inspiring.

I'm feeling really motivated and excited about this next chapter!

When arrived home, our feathered fur baby Darwin was waiting excitedly for Dad to arrive home too!

Too cute not to share – his happy dance on the windowsill instant happy heart ♥️

Grateful for good days like this.
