The Cruel Ones

They'll cut you, just to watch you bleed
They'll suffocate you, just to watch your life slip away
They'll strangle you, just to watch your neck bruise
They don't care, nor will they ever
A simple life
A taken life
A rotting life
A dead, shattered life.
It doesn't matter, never will.
The Cruel ones, the evil ones, the manifestations of your demons
The silhouette of your, once, happy dream.
It all becomes clear, when everything fogs away.

Why her?
Why the anger?
Why the evil?
Why the pain?

The jealousy goes
The knife of love stabs me in the back

Rip the knife out of my back

Anger

Anger is like the devil in you
Anger is your evil side coming
Out with no killing
It is your dark angel wanting to
Over come you and take control

You want to escape from it, but
Cant
It chases you around
You try, but you can't
You want to cry, but before
You can, anger swoops in
And grabs you

You want to try to run away
But when you get a foot away
Sorrow surrounds you
You want to shake the feeling
Off, but it lingers and stays

You feel the sad and madness
Mixed
You end up staying in that mood
As you feel trapped and unable
To move
You feel hatred and the annoyance
Of it all

You just feel the instinct of feeling
Tired of it all
The hatred, the sadness, the madness
You just want to scream as I do
When anger comes around
Anger, Anger, Anger.

UNBEARABLE LOSS

The door opened,
torment finding its way out.
Love slain by fate,
fluttered in the dust.

Vast void of time
can't sponge off this anguish.
My heart bathed
in a steady rain of pain.

I used to fall asleep,
kitten in your arms.
Now I'm alone,
gazing at your face,
hidden amid a crowd of stars.

Eyes dull, pale gleam,
torch's batteries running down.
We were in love,
why did you have to leave?

Every minute, everything,
reminded me of you.
I prayed, prayed to go insane,
to forget.

Walking aimlessly for hours,
faces blurred on the street.
Sitting, staring out the window,
days at a time.

But your thought never left,
haunting every moment.
I want to fall in love again,
with your ghost.

In a simple beat, a silent street,
Your smile alone makes my heart leap.
A look, a glance, serendipitous meet,
In those moments, my heart can't keep.

A skip, a dance, a playful retreat,
In your eyes, the world feels complete.
With every beat, it's you I greet,
Your presence makes my pulse elite.
