5 TIPS TO CONSIDER WHEN ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT:

1) Read the contract - Always read the entire agreement you are entering into;
2) Understand the contract - Ensure that you understand all the clauses contained in the agreement you are signing;
3) Get advice if you can - If you do not understand certain parts of the agreement ensure that you seek legal advice;
4) Think about it - Always give yourself time to think about what you have read and be sure that what you are signing is what you agree to; and
5) Honour it - If you foresee the possibility that you might not be in a position to honour your agreement, do not conclude the agreement.
